Smart Operations Command Center

Lela

Endless platform hopping, buried risk metrics, and constant context-switching were some of the operational monsters that haunted my work across diverse e-commerce brands for years. So, after 10 years of experience, I decided to vibe code a tool to fix them: Lela.

Lela is a Smart Operations Command Center built to solve some of these friction points. Using my own store (carladopazo.com) as a live testing ground and data source, I designed it to model real-world business complexity.

My own experience was used as the starting point. The true power lies in diagnosing whatever is dragging down a brand's operations and engineering a custom system to run the business more efficiently. It goes beyond a regular dashboard. I designed it so high-priority actions can be executed with a single click, syncing directly to the live store and other tools.

Some of Lela's worth-mentioning Features:

  • In-App Intelligence Agent: A conversational assistant inside it that helps search, query, and locate complex store data.
  • Customer Service Co-Pilot: An AI assistant that drafts support responses using Pinecone RAG (retrieving exact store SOPs), leaving full control and final approval in human hands.
  • Data Infrastructure: Real-time sync with Shopify, Omnisend, and Outlook email to rank store risks by financial value at risk, segment customers, and give support.
  • AI Stack: Powered by Ollama for open-source model inference and Pinecone for vector retrieval, keeping context-window lookup times fast and reliable.
  • Deployment Environment: Currently running in a local development environment while connecting to live production webhooks via Shopify & Omnisend APIs. Ready for cloud deployment.

Lela in the Future:

  • ERP & Supply Chain: Integrating with Odoo MRP to track manufacturing workflows, stock replenishment, and supply chain logistics.
  • Growth & Performance Marketing: Deploying a native affiliate tracking engine to run and monitor partner programs in real time. And syncing with ad platforms like Meta and Google Ads.

By combining live-data logic with human-supervised AI, Lela turns fragmented metrics into structured operating logic by finding diagnosis, decision, and execution living in the same system instead of six different tabs.

Let's take a closer look, section by section, at how I addressed my operational challenges:

Here you will see what's holding up revenue or team time and have the opportunity to go straight to that section on the tool to take an strategic action.

Revenue, orders, AOV, refunds, and conversion — for any time range, compared against the period before. And below it, the same "needs attention" signals from across the tool in one place: late shipments, stalled inventory, sold-out-but-live products, and refund rate.

Notify your customers before they reach out to you with the reason of the delay. Bulk notifications will be available soon.

The full picture of your inventory and products, and what's happening with them. It connects directly to Shopify and Omnisend, letting you make strategic decisions with a click.

Flows and campaigns, tracked separately — best performer, what needs attention, and revenue down to the email. See who's fresh, fading, or gone quiet, and how it all ties back to where each customer sits in their journey.

Sync the right tags to the right customers depending on where they are in their journey. See the stages at a glance and how many customers are on each of them. Sync it to your CRM and create Campaigns and Flows for the right audience.

Good support leaves a mark. AI drafts your replies from your own macros and SOPs but keeping it human-supervised.

Revenue, orders, and average order value, forecasted from trend or cohort models, benchmarked against last year. Play with the scenario variation to see how a discount push or a slow week shifts what's coming.

Meet Helper, ask it anything, and it answers using the same live data behind every tab. "How much stalled inventory is there?" "What's that worth in revenue?" No digging, no clicking through just a straight answer.
